Competition: Cordia „Green Court” Idea Competition - acquisition
The part of 8th District behind Corvin Cinema has undergone a huge change during the last decade that you couldn’t recognize it. The investor called for a competition to find out the architectural solution for one of the last empty plots. Our proposal was a layout that frames the site and leaves the courtyard as spacious as possible. The varying mix of apartments appear as a motif on the facades, and the heavy volume tears up between the pedestrian allée and the green inner court. To balance a bit the busy city life in the centre, we provide terrace for everyone, and plant greenery on the terraces.
