Spar Supermarket Refurbishment

Tapolca is a small town, often referred as the Northern Gate of the Lake Balaton. SPAR has its retail just beside the white, modernist “Y-shape” residential blocks, decided to refurbish the store inside-out. We applied a steel lamella canopy over the main entrance, pointing at the free standing hills of the neighbouring hollow, creating a sort of semi-opened transition space. We used environmental-friendly MEP solutions, and the uniformed design in the interior.
