LAB5 X Award – Scholarships for Travelling Students 2023 | Invitation for Competition
The X Award has been founded by LAB5 architects on its tenth anniversary. It’s a scholarship for full-time students of architecture, product and interior design, studying and living in Hungary. We support their travel for learning about art, culture, mainly focusing on design.
Deadline: 31st January 2023.

The 2023 scholarship winner
The recipient of the 2023 Travel Grant was Eszter Boróka Zalányi, a fourth-year architecture student at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics (BME), under the motto "NOT Just Another Brick in the Wall." Eszter takes a comprehensive approach to educational architecture. As part of the study trip, she explored kindergartens and schools in Northern Europe (Sweden, Denmark, and Finland) and prepared a thorough and engaging report on her findings and experiences.
